Greetings from the Church of God at Vacaville. The Lord has blessed us greatly in the work that has been done at the church. The cosmetic repairs on the inside and outside of the church has almost been completed. The new carpet in the sanctuary has been laid. We are looking forward to our Footwashing and Communion Service on Good Friday. And we are busy preparing for the Eldership in June. It is our hope and prayer that we will have everything ready by then! May the Lord bless you and we hope to see you soon. Add Comment Church work in progress 12/26/2011

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year from the congregation at the Church of God in Vacaville. We are excited to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Please join us for our upcoming Christmas program. Our youth have been working hard on their songs for Jesus. Join us for our Christmas service on December 19th at 10:00 A.M. We have been blessed with good health, and joy in our hearts for the Lord. Please feel free to contact us by e-mail, phone, or comment on our post. May the Lord be with you all. Luke 2:1-14 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed. (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. November updates 11/09/2010
Please keep us in prayer as work starts on our roof. The past rainfall has revealed numerous leaks in our roof. Please pray for the men that will be working on the roof. May the Lord guide their hands and keep them safe. We have a cleaning day coming up on Saturday, 11/13. We show up about 8 A.M. and work until noon. See you there! We provide the coffee and donuts! We had quite a bit happen in October. We had two funerals, feet washing & communion service and the fellowship in Manteca. Sis. JaDee Hopper's dad was laid to rest at the Sacramento National Cemetery in Dixon. Bro. Gary Hopper, Jr. officiated the service and played Taps. Bro. Paul Looper's dad was laid to rest at the Elmira Cemetery in Vacaville. Our congregation had our Feet washing & Communion service on 10/22/10. There were ten brothers and sisters in attendance. It was truly a humbling experience. The quarterly meeting was held at the Manteca Church of God on the weekend of 10/29. It was wonderful to see so many loved ones there. It was a joy to see Bro. Nolan Phillips in attendance. Thank you Lord! There were many walking miracles and testimonies to behold and listen to. The singing, preaching and of course the food was top notch. Thank you to the beloved brethren at the Manteca Church of God. You are in our prayers. Bro. Gary Hopper\\\'s message on 8-8-10 09/20/2010
